Theological Identity

Tedim Christian College (TCC) is a theological institution rooted in the Baptist tradition, upholding the convictions of faith in Jesus Christ, commitment to Scripture, and the mission of the Church. At the same time, TCC embraces an ecumenical and contextual theological perspective, recognizing the richness and diversity of the wider Christian community. We believe that collaboration across denominational lines is a witness to the unity of the body of Christ and strengthens our shared mission in the world.

TCC affirms the doctrine of the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—as the foundation of Christian faith and life. We believe in the full authority and inspiration of the Holy Bible as the Word of God, and we are committed to interpreting and applying it faithfully in the life and ministry of the Church. Our theological education is guided by the conviction that Scripture must be studied with both spiritual depth and intellectual integrity.

As a contextual theological institution, TCC is committed to engaging deeply with the social, cultural, and spiritual realities of Myanmar. We believe that theology must speak to the lived experiences of the people and contribute to the transformation of both the Church and society. Our programs are designed to prepare students to serve effectively in diverse ministry contexts—urban and rural, local and global—through a theology that is both biblically sound and contextually relevant.

In all that we do, TCC seeks to form men and women who are spiritually mature, theologically grounded, and equipped to lead with humility, wisdom, and a servant’s heart. We are dedicated to promoting the values of faith, justice, compassion, and reconciliation in the Church and in the wider world.
