Student Council

Student Council

To embody the vision and mission of TCC—and its philosophy of holistic education that develops students intellectually, physically, spiritually, and socially—the College has established a Student Council. The Council provides leadership opportunities, enriches campus life, and fosters a vibrant student community through coordinated initiatives.

The Executive Committee of the Student Council oversees five key functional committees:

Finance Committee

  • Manages Student Council budgets and resources with integrity.
  • Oversees fundraising activities, sponsorship programs, and financial stewardship.
  • Coordinates administrative and logistical support for student initiatives.

Literature & Language Committee

  • Promotes intellectual growth and a culture of reading.
  • Organizes book clubs, debates, academic forums, and library development projects.
  • Publishes the annual student magazine.
  • Encourages language learning and fluency through speaking clubs and English programs.

Sports Committee

  • Fosters physical well-being, teamwork, and discipline.
  • Organizes sporting events such as football, futsal, badminton, table tennis, and mind sports (chess, checkers, etc.).
  • Facilitates alternative fitness programs including dance activities and “prayer with movement” sessions.

Worship Committee

  • Nurtures the spiritual life of the student body.
  • Coordinates chapel services, prayer meetings, discipleship groups, and spiritual retreats.
  • Oversees worship and music activities, including choirs, praise and worship, and song competitions—cultivating faith through creative expression.

Social Committee

  • Enhances community life and pastoral care among students.
  • Organizes cultural programs, national day celebrations, and birthday gatherings.
  • Provides support in times of grief (e.g., condolence visits).
  • Promotes social responsibility through initiatives such as blood donation drives and community engagement activities.

✨ In short, the Student Council serves as the heartbeat of student life at TCC—building leadership, strengthening fellowship, and inspiring service inside and beyond the campus.
